Careers
Work where the standard is the product.
iQ Cleaning serves homes across Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. If you take pride in doing excellent work and communicating clearly and respectfully, we would like to hear from you.
How we work
Four things we hold everyone to
Not a values poster. These are the things that decide whether a customer stays, and they apply to every role.
The customer is the point
Every role here exists so that somebody comes home to a clean house and does not have to chase anyone about it. Whether you are cleaning, answering the phone or building the schedule, that is the job behind the job.
Consistency over heroics
A recurring customer is not judging us on one exceptional visit — they are judging us on whether the twelfth is as good as the first. Doing the same work to the same standard, reliably, is the skill this business runs on.
Say it early
Running late, something broken, a home that is not as described — we would far rather hear it as it happens than discover it later. Nobody here is penalised for flagging a problem quickly.
Respect for someone’s home
We are guests in places people live. That means care with belongings, discretion about what we see, and leaving a home the way its owner asked us to.
Who we hear from
The kinds of work involved
We are not advertising specific openings on this page. We do keep a record of people who have been in touch, and we go to it when something opens up.
Cleaning professionals
The people who do the work customers actually buy — recurring visits, deep cleans, move-in/move-out and short-term rental turnovers across the DC metro area.
Field technicians
Hands-on roles supporting service delivery and equipment across the areas we cover.
Customer service
The team customers reach before, during and after a service — answering questions, sorting changes, and following through on concerns.
Sales
Helping prospective customers understand what suits their home, without pressure and without overselling what a visit will do.
Dispatch and scheduling
Building routes and schedules that work for customers and for the teams driving them.
Operations
Quality, training, logistics and the systems that let everything above happen on time.
We work across Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. Tell us which areas you can reach when you get in touch.
Working arrangements
How roles are structured
Opportunities here may involve an employment relationship or an independent-contractor relationship, depending on the position and on the law that applies where the work is performed. Which one applies to a particular role is confirmed in writing before any work begins — not assumed from this page.
If that distinction matters to you, ask about it early and we will tell you plainly where a given role stands.
