Terms of Service
Effective and last updated:
These terms apply when you book and receive cleaning services from iQ Cleaning. Please read them alongside your booking confirmation, which carries the specific details of the service you have booked.
1.Acceptance of these terms
These terms apply when you use our website, request a price, or book and receive cleaning services from iQ Cleaning, the residential cleaning division of iQ Home Care. By booking a service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not book.
2.Information you give us
You agree that the information you give us — including the address, the size and condition of the property, access arrangements, and anything needing particular care — is accurate and complete. We rely on it to price and plan your service, and inaccurate information may affect the price, the time needed, or our ability to carry out the service at all.
3.Estimates and pricing
Prices quoted online are based on the information you provide about your property and the service you select. They are an estimate for that described property, not a fixed price for any property.
If the property differs materially from what was described — significantly larger, in substantially different condition, or requiring work outside the service booked — we will discuss it with you before proceeding, and the price or the scope may need to be adjusted.
4.Booking online
A booking is made when you complete the online booking process and receive a confirmation from us. Your confirmation sets out the service, the date and time, the price, and the terms that apply specifically to that booking. Where anything in your confirmation differs from this page, your confirmation governs that booking.
5.Payment
By booking you authorise us to charge the payment method you provide for the service booked, together with any adjustments agreed with you. Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider.
The timing of payment for your service is set out in your booking confirmation.
6.Recurring services
A recurring booking repeats on the frequency you select until you change or end it. It is a schedule rather than a fixed-term contract. To change the frequency, pause it, or end it, contact our customer-support team; the notice that applies to your plan is set out in your booking confirmation.
7.Rescheduling and cancellation
To reschedule or cancel a visit, contact our customer-support team as early as you can. The notice required, and any charge that may apply to a late change, are set out in your booking confirmation. We will also let you know as soon as we can if we need to reschedule a visit.
8.Access to the property
You are responsible for arranging access for the scheduled visit, whether by being present, providing a key or entry code, or arranging entry through a building. If the team cannot gain access, we will attempt to contact you; the visit may not be able to go ahead, and any charge that applies in that situation is set out in your booking confirmation.
9.Conditions at the property
Running water and electricity need to be available for us to carry out the service. Please tell us in advance if there are pets in the property and how you would like them handled during the visit.
We may decline to carry out, or may stop, a service where conditions present a risk to our team — including hazardous materials, biohazards, pest infestation, extreme clutter, or an unsafe environment. We will discuss the position with you if that happens.
Please secure or put away cash, jewellery, and items that are valuable, fragile or irreplaceable before the visit, and tell us about anything needing particular care or that should be left alone.
10.Scope of the service and adjustments
We carry out the service you booked. Work outside that scope is not included and may require a separate booking or an adjustment agreed with you in advance. If you want particular areas prioritised, tell us when you book or contact customer support before the visit.
11.Customer-supplied products and equipment
Our teams arrive equipped for the service booked. If you ask us to use products or equipment you supply, you confirm they are suitable for the surfaces concerned, and we are not responsible for damage resulting from their use or from their suitability.
12.Quality concerns
If you are not satisfied with a service, contact our customer-support team and tell us what was missed. Please get in touch as soon as you notice, so we can look at it while the visit is recent. Any timeframe that applies to your service is set out in your booking confirmation, and we will work with you to put things right.
13.Reporting damage
If you believe something was damaged during a visit, report it to our customer-support team as soon as you can, with details and photographs where possible, so that we can investigate properly while the circumstances can still be established.
14.Communications
By providing your contact details you agree that we may contact you about your enquiry and your bookings, including confirmations, reminders and service-day updates, by telephone, text message and email. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
15.Service documentation
We may keep records relating to a service, which can include notes and photographs taken to document the condition of a property or the work carried out. These are used to deliver the service, to resolve questions about it, and for training and quality purposes.
16.Intellectual property
The content of this website — including text, images, logos and design — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our permission.
17.Third-party links and services
Our website and booking process may link to or rely on services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of those services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.
18.Acceptable use
You agree not to use our website or services unlawfully, to interfere with their operation or security, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, to submit false or fraudulent bookings, or to harass or abuse our staff or the professionals carrying out a service.
19.Disclaimers and limitations
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. Except as expressly stated, and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our website and services are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising out of your use of our website or services.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and nothing here affects any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
20.Changes to these terms, and how to contact us
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. The terms in force when you make a booking apply to that booking.
If you have a question about these terms, contact our customer-support team on 855-699-8283 or at cleaning@iqhome.care.
